It's Youth Sunday! This service, taking place during the 9:00 a.m. slot in the sanctuary, is an energetic, inspiring annual tradition. With the music and messages the youth are planning, it will be fabulous once again this year. The theme is #Trending and we will learn about what is on the hearts of our young people.
At 10:15 a.m., the One and All service will include a sermon by Rev. Jim Warren ("Giving Up Busyness and Taking on Sabbath"), and music by the One and All Band. As always, a light breakfast will await those who attend.
About the current sermon series, Giving It Up and Taking It On: "Two of the traditional Lenten disciplines are giving up something we've been doing and taking on something new. I will encourage our congregation to engage in these two disciplines, but on a deeper level. I will invite individuals to give up and take on things that God wants us to give up and take on, not just during the 40 days of Lent, but forever. We'll look at giving up grudges, apathy, selfishness, fear, and death, and taking on forgiveness, compassion, generosity, trust, and life." -- Jim Warren
Gifts for Another Table:
Thank you for bringing items for Center for Hope Ministries! Let's keep helping! Still needed are rice and rice dinners, potato dinners, pasta of any kind, pasta sauce, Hamburger Helper, dinner meals, cereal, mashed/boxed potatoes, and canned fruits and vegetables. Thank you!
