Honoring local knowledge, growing health, and improving equity
highlights a case study in Albuquerque, New Mexico: Presbyterian Hospital got involved to support local agriculture, food access, equity, and economic development through community supported agriculture, a mobile market, and a wellness referral center.
The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) is investing in community through its
Health Equity Zone (HEZ) Initiative. This is an innovative, place-based approach that brings people in a defined geographic area together and invests in helping them strengthen the infrastructure their community needs to transform systems for healthy living.
Public Health Institute's Regional Asthma Management and Prevention program (RAMP) is hosting a
webinar on Monday, May 7th, from 10am-11am PT/1pm-2pm ET. Learned more about lessons related to in-home asthma services California, Michigan, New Mexico and elsewhere.
ExploreMOHealth is an online data tool that was created in partnership between Missouri Foundation for Health (MFH) and the MHA Health Institute, for the non-profit corporation affiliated with the Missouri Hospital Association. ExploreMoHealth provides a unique approach to measuring community health at the ZIP code level, using hospital discharge and census-based data applied to the County Health Rankings model of population health.

CACHE helps users interpret data from Community Benefit Insight, and couple it with existing tools and resources for strategic community benefit implementation.

Community Benefit Insight (CBI) is a comprehensive, searchable tool for community benefit data, enabling local organizations to assess how hospital resources are allocated. The tool includes community benefit expenditures as reported by tax-exempt hospitals from all fifty states and the District of Columbia. Visit
