GSSCC to Honor Founding Members

At its Silver Anniversary Spectacular Awards & Installation Dinner next Tuesday, GSSCC will recognize 32 organizations that were among the Chamber's "Founding Members" and are still Chamber members today. GSSCC Board Elects FY19 Directors, Chair Scott, Chair-elect Stewart

At its last meeting, the GSSCC Board elected the following member representatives to three -year terms on the FY19 Board: Ray Barry, AFI Silver Theatre and Cultural Center; Marc Bloom, Washington Adventist Hospital; Dan Figueroa, Downtown Silver Spring/Peterson Companies; Lauren Hild, Holy Cross Hospita; Adam Lowe, Adam S. Lowe Creative; and Chad Mangum, Bell Flowers. Julie Statland, Statland & Katz/Joseph W. McCartin Insurance, was appointed to a one-year term. Robert Scott, My Office Products, was named to another year as GSSCC Chair, and Stewart Zemil, Apex Home Loans, was named Chair-elect, to assume the role of Chair on the FY20 Board. These individuals will be installed, along with other current Board members at GSSCC's Silver Anniversary Spectacular Awards & Installation Dinner next week.
Early Voting Begins this Thursday

The Primary Election is June 26, but early voting begins this week on June 14.  See  here  for details.  In Montgomery County, t he Primary is where decisions about elected leaders are made in Montgomery County. The results of this year's Primary will have major consequences for all business owners and their employees. Your voice and your vote this year are more important than ever. Join GSSCC for the next Business Networking Breakfast on Wednesday, June 27, at Argyle Country Club (14600 Country Club Road).
