June, 2018
Hello Families,

It is amazing to see that the end of another school year has arrived! We want to thank all of you for the support and patience shown over these past 10 months. We had successes and some challenges, yet despite it all, we continued with a fun and engaging school year. We want to take the time to wish the outgoing 5th graders the best of luck and cannot wait to see what the future holds for them.

Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will be open to all currently registered families on June 18, 2018. I will send an e-mail with a link to the registration. All accounts must have a zero balance to register for 2018-2019 school year. Any information about the programs, including rates, can be found on our website.

Please remember June payments are the same amount as always; we calculate our fees based on 180 school days and divide it into 10 equal monthly payments.

Sincerely,

Stephanie Sturgis
Director of School Age Child Care

SITE SPOTLIGHTS
Brentwood: Can't believe that June is here! What happened to this year? It has flown by, that's very clear. What can we do to make this the best month yet, my dear? We'll have picnics outside, playing tons of games, and doing lots of crafts, like the end isn't near. We will create endless amount of smiles and hopefully no tears. As our fifth graders leave, don't be sad, let's end this month instead with cheer!

Danville: I can't believe the school year is almost over, with less than a month left to go. We will be ending the school year with some exciting activities such as playing outside with the big parachute, exploding Coke with Mentos, and playing with Floam. We will also end the year with our goodbye photos that have been taken throughout the school year. We hope to see you next school year for just as much fun!

East Kingston: The end of the school year is upon us and I hope everyone has great summertime plans. This month we will be doing a few different summer craft projects like bookmarks and sun catchers. We will make bird feeders to hang outside with recycled materials. We're looking forward to spending more time outside doing scavenger hunts and making bubbles. I can't wait to finish off this year with lots of fun activities and good times!

Exeter:  I cannot believe it's already June and the school year is almost over. Here in Exeter we've had a fun school year and we're sad to see it come to an end. We're going to try to make this month as much fun as the rest. We have a lot of our door games and activities planned. The Exeter staff wishes everyone a fun and safe summer and hopefully we'll see some familiar faces next school year.

Fremont:
Our friends in Fremont have been looking forward to the nice warm weather. We are also looking forward to finishing off the school year strong with some fun activities, with a focus on outdoors! The summer is coming up fast, so we want to enjoy the time we have. Remember, at the Y, we focus on the four core values: Honesty, Respect, Responsibility, and Caring. They are what keep us strong and are useful tools for our everyday lives. Have an awesome summer everyone!

Hampstead:
Hampstead School's Out is still pretty excited about the luau we held on May 31st! Hopefully you joined us for some summery fun! We will be making our own sun catchers! Ask the children how to make some more at home! Yay!

Hampton:  Wow Hampton families I can't believe it is already June. We really are in the final stretch now! Thank you again to all who participated in our fundraiser for the Y Scholarship Fund! The Centre kids had a blast pie-ing the staff in the face as their reward for raising the most money. With the weather being warmer please remember to pack your child enough water to last them the day or a reusable water bottle that they can fill up! We don't want anyone dehydrated on those hot summer days as we close out the school year with plenty of time outside in the sun! Also, be on the lookout for our lost and found table for a final shot at retrieving lost belongings. For our last month (or couple of weeks I should say) of program, we are planning several exciting activities to really close out the year and remember all of the fun times the 2017-2018 school year brought us! It has been a great school year and I can't wait to see some familiar faces at summer camp, AKA, the most wonderful time of the year! Enjoy the sun!

Hampton Falls:
Hello families! School is coming to a close and summer is approaching! We have been enjoying the long, warm, sunny days outside playing kickball and cheering for the LAS baseball team! Go Tigers! We also spruced up LAS with some flowers and made beautiful bird feeders! As the end of the school year arrives we will continue to enjoy the outdoors. Please send your child to school with a water bottle, and check your child for ticks periodically as the season is full swing.

Kensington:
This month the kids loved learning how to play the board game Payday, making a balloon vehicle to race, and playing outside. June brings us the beginning of summer and lots of water fun outside! We will also be working on finishing up our service learning project with C.H.A.D (Children's Hospital at Dartmouth). I hope everyone enjoyed the year as much as we did!

Kingston:
Hello parents and students! I can't believe a year has gone by so fast; It's already June! I'd like to encourage the kids to start bringing reusable water bottles so we can cut down on our paper cup waste. At the site, we're looking forward to doing some summer-themed activities as we gear up for vacation. Please join me in wishing our program assistant, Lauren, all the best at college next year and thanking her for all her hard work these past few years. In addition, I'd like to thank Ryan and Melissa for their commitment every day. It has been such a joy working with your kids this year and I wish you all a restful and joyous summer!

Newton:
We have finally reached the end of the year and are happy to be spending lots of time outside! While we are outside, we are going to have fun going on a Spring scavenger hunt, painting pet rocks, and playing jump rope games. It has been another great and fun year with all of you and hope you have a wonderful summer!

North Hampton: Congrats to our Core Value Kid, Edward McNamara. We are so excited for the summer, it's hard to believe that it is already here! We have enjoyed lots of outside time this past month and will continue to do so throughout the end of the year. Please make sure that children have proper outdoor clothing, shoes, and water bottles. Have a great summer and see you next school year!

Raymond:
Happy June everyone! Although we are sad to see the school year come to an end, we are so excited to finish off the year strong! We are excited to experiment with some oil pastels and make our summer bucket lists, as well as play outside more! Everyone at Raymond SACC hopes you have had a wonderful school year and we hope to see you again next year, and for our kids moving up into the middle school, we wish you the best of luck, don't be a stranger, come and visit!

Seabrook:
This month we will be focusing on the beach: activities for the beach, games for the beach and most importantly, summertime safety! We will be playing volleyball, participating in relay races and sack races.

Stratham: May was a great month!  We had a great time making chalk paint, playing a lot of extra field games and jump roping with a special visitor from the Y!  We've been especially busy preparing for our June play, practicing, making costumes and building the set.  We are looking forward to finishing the school year with a lot of fun activities!
