Credentials Chronicles
Dear Friends of Credentials Solutions,

My good friend and business partner Jack Weber has announced his well-earned retirement from Credentials. My friendship with Jack started during high school freshman football in 1966. After high school, Jack went to Yale while I was at Boston College and our close proximity resulted in many raucous weekends in New Haven and Chestnut Hill. After college, we were roommates and worked together at the Northern Trust Bank. Jack left the banking business for other career opportunities but we got together again in 1997 at the start of Credentials. Here we are more than 20 years after Credentials' founding and more than 50 years into this lifelong friendship. It has been an amazing ride. I can fairly say that Credentials would not have survived without Jack Weber, as no one has brought in more relationships and only a few people have contributed as much to our reputation for superior service. He has left an indelible mark on our company and the industry.

On behalf of all of his colleagues, I would like to congratulate and thank him for his enormous contribution to our success. As for myself, it has been a helluva ride, Jackie. Thanks for everything.  I love you, brother. I'm looking forward to the next chapters in the story of our lives. Cheers!

Sincerely,

Thomas D. McKechney

The term "big data" is relatively new. It first emerged as technology that enabled the collection of massive data sets that exceeded the computational capacity of hardware and software. The term has continued to morph into an array of strategies, approaches, and methodologies. Let's look at the implications for Higher Education. Read More
