FROM THE PASTOR...
We celebrate Pentecost Sunday on May 20th. Pentecost is on the church's calendar each year to remind us that God has poured out His promised gift of the Holy Spirit. It is available to all Christians who are open to receive it, just as Jesus promised His disciples before His ascension into heaven. What do we know about this promised gift? We know that the disciples were greatly changed after receiving it. During Jesus' crucifixion, most of them were nowhere to be seen. Afterwards they hid in a small house with the shutters closed and the doors locked because they were afraid of being arrested (John 20:19). To read more

May Mission of the Month - Native American Awareness
In the month of May, your gifts will be used to support Native American Awareness. 50% of the monies are retained by the Annual Conference to develop and strengthen Native American ministries. The remaining 50% is used by the General Board of Higher Education and Ministries for scholarships to Native Americans attending United Methodist schools of theology.

Come on Down to SonHarvest County Fair for Some Down-Home FUN!!!
Coming June 4-7, 5:45-7:45 p.m.
We're excited about our Vacation Bible School!!! SonHarvest County Fair is a week of fun on the farm!
In SonHarvest County, children will discover how to grow the fruit of the Spirit. Specifically, children will learn to Grow Love, Sprout Joy, Produce Patience, and Pick Kindness. We will be having a great time with lively songs, crafts, games, Bible stories and snacks - all of the things that make Vacation Bible School so much fun for children. On top of that, we will be helping children grow the fruit of God's Spirit. Call the church office at 574-896-5927 for information or to pre-register, and plan to join us for a great time at SonHarvest County Fair!

UNITED METHODIST WOMEN NEWS
Our meeting this month will be on Tuesday, May 8th, at 1:30 p.m. in the Church Lounge. All women are invited! Etha Kallin will be the leader. Sanctuary clean-up for May is Violet Ono.

RUMMAGE SALE!!!

The annual Rummage Sale will be held in Fellowship Hall. All proceeds will be used to help fund our Outreach Building Project. We need donations of items and volunteers to help!!! For more information, call Linda Lewandowski (574-896-3635).

LITTLE LIGHTS PRESCHOOL
You are all invited to our Graduation Program on Sunday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. All of our classes will be taking part in the program. They will be performing songs, action rhymes, etc. that they have learned throughout the school year. We will end the program by presenting diplomas to the following students who will be attending kindergarten next year: Gabriella Banks, Kennedi Begley, Liam Fletcher, Kori Archer-Garcia, Timothy Mitchell, Colton Rowe, Jensen Stacy, and Olivia Wilson. Congratulations to all of our "Little Lights"!! Remember that God loves you and so do we! _________________________________________________
