SAINTS PETER & PAUL CATHOLIC SCHOOL
QUEEN OF HEARTS FEVER
and the NCAA TOURNEY

No, this is not a picture of an aspiring actor auditioning for the role of Freddie Mercury , the front man for Queen, in the recent production of Bohemian Rhapsody.

Rather it is a dedicated member of our Advancement Board who loves our school so much he is willing to stand outdoors at Quigley's to try and entice passersby to stop in and purchase Queen of Hearts tickets.

This weekend will determine which teams will square off in the Final Four next  weekend at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis .

You certainly don't want to miss the action and while hiding in your man cave at home might sound appealing, you would also leave yourself vulnerable to 'honey do' lists and noisy children stuck indoors because of the weather.

Why not escape to Quigley's? They've got TV"S throughout the bar for your enjoyment and plenty of good food as well.

Before you get caught up in the games, however, be sure to stop by our Queen of Hearts table and support our school by buying some tickets. You'll likely find other dedicated members of our Advancement Board who have been giving generously of their time to benefit our school.

Tickets are only $5 each. To save time, bring your mailing labels with you.   For $20 you can purchase four tickets and have the necessary information filled out in a matter of seconds allowing you plenty of time to enjoy a cool one and cheer on the teams that will keep your bracket alive. Don't forget to bring a friend with you.

Remember, if the Queen stays hidden long enough, our pot can grow to $2 million meaning the winner could walk away with as much as $1 million.

Just think what our school could do with $1 million!!!!

Better still, just think of what you could do with $1 million!!!!!

SSPP TRIVIA

When our school was founded in 1853....

....Students who rode their bicycle to school paddled as quickly as their legs would allow as the seats were very uncomfortable.  The padded bicycle seat, first known as the 'Garford Saddle' wasn't invented until 1892 by Arthur Lovett Garford of Elyria, Ohio.
