Dear ,

Many TESL Ontario members look forward to their local affiliate chapters’ professional development events, but do you realize you can also attend events of any affiliate chapter? Why not consider those put on by your neighbouring affiliate chapters? There are so many benefits to networking with your peers.

In this talk, Dr. Griffiths will explore the relationship of individual personal differences and their effect on language intake. The presentation will examine two case studies, discuss the elements that make each student "good", and how those differences can help us formulate some general truths which might be used to inform the strategies we use to facilitate the language learning endeavours of others.

Along with our plenary, we will have a wide range of presentations and workshops put on by your fellow educators that will give:

  • teachers useful strategies and activities to use in their own classrooms,
  • administrators new strategies and methods to help shape and guide their teachers, and
  • everyone a new insight into the profession we love.
