UUFF eNews - Week of March 20, 2019
Service this Sunday- March 24, 2019
Sunday, 03/24/19, 11am Service: "Spring Equinox Awakening." Come turn the Wheel of the Year and welcome Spring with UUFF's Web of Life! *Choir will sing, directed by Renée Janski!*

10am Sunday Adult Religious Education (ARE):
ARE Discussion Group: Meets downstairs. Topic: "The Disease of More." Blogger Mark Manson takes an irreverent look at the pitfalls of always wanting more: more stuff, more prestige, more self-improvement. "What if there is no 'next level'?" he asks. "What if it’s just an idea you made up in your head? What if you’re already there and not only are you not recognizing it, but by constantly pursuing something more, you’re preventing yourself from appreciating it and enjoying where you are now?” Join us.   https://getpocket.com/explore/item/the-disease-of-more

Meditation will be held at 10:00, followed by a short reading and discussion between 10:30 -
10:45. It doesnʼt matter what type of meditation you do, or if you have ever meditated before, you
are welcome to come meditate in the UUFF Annex building (across Storer from UUFF in the west-
nearest Storer-side of the annex). ALL ARE WELCOME. Enter through the front door.

10am RE for kids 5+ continues today! All are invited to meet in room 2 downstairs at 10am for Religious Exploration, before rejoining adults for the 11 o’clock service.

Sunday Nursery Services available 9:45 am – 12:15 pm

Announcements, Events, and Opportunities!
Looking for a good way to show your appreciation for our wonderful local environment? Please join Mike McMullin and fellow UUFF'ers TOMORROW, March 21st, from 1-3pm to help "de-trash" our adopted section of the Razorback Greenway Trail. Volunteers should meet at UUFF at 1pm to carpool to site. Sadly, there is always plenty of trash to clear, and we need all the help we can get! Questions? mocmyc@msn.com
New UU/Path to Membership Classes have been scheduled at UUFF for April 28, May 5, and May 19, from 5-7:30pm, with dinner included and childcare available upon request! These classes, formulated especially for folks new to UU or UUFF, survey Unitarian Universalism and UUFF’s theology, history, and polity. Interested? Please sign up HERE or on the paper sign-up sheet at the Activities Table in the lobby. If you have questions, you may contact our Administrator, Fawn Smith, at uuff.ar@gmail.com or Rev. Jim at rev.jimparrish@gmail.com .

Interested in Free Wellness Counseling Classes?
Friend of UUFF and Minister of Hanuman Mind/Body Wellness Center, Rev. Arlene Ferguson, would like to offer a free wellness counseling class on the basics of digestion and physical wellness, particularly focused on use of enzymes, probiotics, supplements, etc. Arlene holds a lifetime CA teaching credential and has been doing mind/body wellness (for people AND animals!) for over 50 years. Please sign up on the clipboard in UUFF lobby (beneath bulletin board) if you are interested in attending the class, and if enough folks sign up, we'll schedule the time and place and let everyone know.
