Austin M. Powers 1997 - 2018    
A ustin M. Powers, 1997 - 2018, of Wadsworth passed away unexpectedly on July 9, 2018 as the result of a motorcycle accident  . He was born July 4, 1997 in Cleveland to Bobby and Amy (nee Channell) Powers.

Austin was a 2015 graduate of Wadsworth High School and was currently serving in the U.S. Navy on the USS Gerald Ford, stationed in Norfolk, VA.

Austin is survived by his parents, Bob and Amy Powers, sister Samantha Powers, and brother, Scott Powers, all of Wadsworth;  paternal grandmother Mary Tunney of Lakewood;  his maternal grandfather, Ronald (Sandy) Channell of Medina;  maternal grandmother Nancy Taylor of Cleveland;  his aunt and uncle, Michelle and Eddie Schwartz of Tiffin; and uncle Ronald "Bubby" Channell of Cleveland;  and numerous extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends 3-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 18, 2018, at the Hilliard-Rospert Funeral Home, 174 N. Lyman St., Wadsworth, OH.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m. Thursday at St. Colette Catholic Church, 330 W. 130th St., Brunswick, OH 44212.   Austin will be laid to rest at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery with full Military Honors.
