Year End Statements
Over the past few weeks, you have undoubtedly opened your investment statements advising you of your account values at the end of 2018. We understand that these will be met with disappointment and
uncertainty
.
As you have heard us say over the years, we are positioned for the long run and we must be careful not to be swayed by the 'noise' and short term fluctuations. Over time, we will have many more winning years than not and your portfolio should be positioned to withstand the negative periods.
We do want to let you know that so far this year, the markets have rebounded nicely in all areas, from the 2018 lows. We have attached a comparison chart for your reference and hope these numbers may help to calm some of the worry and concerns the last statements have given you.
