Richmond Highway (Route 1) from Jeff Todd Way to Sherwood Hall Lane in Fairfax County
ABOUT THE PROJECT

This project will improve about three miles of Richmond Highway from Jeff Todd Way to Sherwood Hall Lane in Fairfax County. The project includes widening the road from four to six lanes, separate bicycle lanes and sidewalks on both sides of the road, intersection improvements and safety enhancements. The project will also preserve the median width to accommodate Fairfax County's future dedicated bus-only lanes
