Special Announcements

Hello friends!

My name is Dylan and I am the current UC San Diego LGBT Resource Center Programs & Operations Coordinator and my pronouns are they, them, and theirs. I have been with our Center for about a year and half in this role, and previous to this I was an undergraduate student intern and the group facilitator of a student organization called Fluid Attraction.

I am so thankful for my time here at UC San Diego and for the space to get to know many of you on a personal level and to support growth in its many forms--and it is also my time to say goodbye as I move toward exciting opportunities. One of my greatest joys is in knowing the perseverance and playfulness of our queer and trans students in a university that wasn't designed with them in mind, and yet here we (were) are, graduating, forming organizations, finding community. I am so grateful our space together and for allowing me to be a part of your lives at UCSD.

My last day here will be March 28th and I would love to say goodbye in person, so please feel free to come by my office any time before then, otherwise I will see you all at Rainbow Graduation in June. There will be a temporary employee in the position until the hiring process finishes in late Spring.

With much love and commitment to social justice,

Dylan Andretta
