Nearly 100 Interns from across the country gathered aboard the USS LST 393 and the AquaStar cruise ship for the annual Interns on Deck event.

The event was hosted by the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce and included a guided tour of the Lakeshore, highlighting the advantages of living and working in Muskegon County.

“The Muskegon Lakeshore has excellent career opportunities and unique outdoor assets. Together, these make a winning combination for attracting talent to the region,” said Cindy Larsen, president of the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce.

Workforce development and retention is just one of many key factors to building a strong community.
