Flora-Monroe Township Public Library
Seeks Artwork to Commemorate
100th Anniversary
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF) announces a call for professional artists to submit their qualifications to be considered for the creation of public art that will serve as a dynamic anchor and threshold for the Flora-Monroe Township Public Library in commemoration of the library's 100th Anniversary. 

A commission of $5,000 will be awarded for this work. TAF, in partnership with the Flora-Monroe Township Public Library, invites artists to submit proposals for the creation of a sculpture that will be permanently installed inside the library's cupola.

All installations must be durable, low-maintenance, and suitable in form, material and content for a mixed-ages audience that will include young children. Preference will be given to artists located in or who have ties to Carroll County, Indiana.



HOW TO APPLY
Artists wishing to apply should combine the following items into a single PDF and e-mail it to Ann Fields Monical at [email protected]:
  • Letter of interest (one page maximum)
  • Resume
  • Two professional references
  • 5-7 work samples (list the date of completion, materials, and any other relevant info)
The deadline to apply is May 15, 2018, 4:30 p.m. (EDT).

About the Tippecanoe Arts Federation
The Tippecanoe Arts Federation is the umbrella organization and arts council for 14 counties. TAF provides educational opportunities in the visual, performing, and literary arts, outreach programs for both underserved and at-risk youth, and funding for capital and operational expenses to fellow arts organizations region wide.
