The Tippecanoe Arts Federation (TAF) announces a call for professional artists to submit their qualifications to be considered for the creation of public art that will serve as a dynamic anchor and threshold for the
Flora-Monroe Township Public Library in commemoration of the library's 100th Anniversary.
A commission of $5,000 will be awarded for this work. TAF, in partnership with the Flora-Monroe Township Public Library, invites artists to submit proposals for the creation of a sculpture that will be permanently installed inside the library's cupola.
All installations must be durable, low-maintenance, and suitable in form, material and content for a mixed-ages audience that will include young children. Preference will be given to artists located in or who have ties to Carroll County, Indiana.
The deadline to apply is May 15, 2018, 4:30 p.m. (EDT).
