Dear Parents,
Our accreditation visit will take place next week from Tuesday, March 26
th through Thursday, March 28
th. St. Rose has been involved in the accreditation process through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Western Catholic Education Association since 1975. We have always been granted a full term of six years, and we are very confident that our new term will also be for six years.
The team that will be visiting our school is made up of two educators from other dioceses and three from within the Santa Rosa Diocese. At the conclusion of their visit, they will provide us with a written report of their findings, highlighting what they have determined to be our significant accomplishments and endorsing our action plans for the future. They will also recommend the new term of accreditation to the WCEA Commissioners which will not be confirmed until the Commissioners meet in May.
The faculty and I have been preparing for this important event for many months. During the three days, the Visiting Team will spend time in our classrooms observing student learning and will meet with teachers, students and parents. They will observe our students at play, during morning assembly and at dismissal. Our students are well-prepared and understand that we want them to be at their very best during the visit. Although there is a scheduled meeting for the team with some of our parents, please don't be surprised if one of our visitors approaches you to chat during drop-off or pick up times.
I am looking forward to this visit and have great confidence in the validity of the process and its capacity to ensure continual quality improvement at St. Rose School.

St. Rose fields teams in:

School VB teams begin practicing in early August, before school begins. Teams must be formed in May. Look for registration to be sent home in April.

New Ordering process for School Uniforms - UPDATE
The NEW St. Rose Uniform online Store will open for ordering on May 1st.
Parents will now place uniform orders online and will pay via bank / credit cards.
This first ordering opportunity is for AUGUST DELIVERY- right before school starts.
The store will only be open during preset ordering 'windows' or dates 5 times a year.
The school will continue to keep a range of sample sizes for those who need to determine sizing, and we'll keep a small inventory of items to fill emergency orders when the store is closed. (The store ordering 'windows' will occur several times throughout the year. That schedule will be posted once determined.
St. Rose will hold a TRY ON date where parents can bring students to try on samples to determine proper sizing before placing orders. That date will be sometime in June.
Check back later for all the info!

Parking Lot Safety
Safety First depends on your cooperation!
Please remember, and tell all those in your family who drive onto our campus, to please drive safely!
Some important safety reminders:
- Be patient. Drive slow. Be kind. Do not impede traffic flow or others.
- If your child goes to tutorial, do not get in the pick up line before 3:10 pm. Do not sit in the traffic circle waiting. Circle around back in line to keep traffic flow moving.
- DO NOT leave your car unattended in the traffic circle during drop off or pick up. Stay in your car and move as soon as your child gets in or out. If you have office business, please park in a designated parking spot.
- Morning drop off: everyone is in a hurry it seems to get to where they need to go. Please do not speed through campus. Do not pass unlawfully or unsafely. Be patient. Plan accordingly.
- If a staff member asks you to move your car or to park, they are doing what is in the best interests of everyone and to keep traffic moving. Please be respectful and do what they ask of you.
We thank you for your cooperation and appreciate your partnership in keeping everyone safe out there!
