United to serve LAX daily, more Delta SLC flights this fall & winter!
Getting to and from Sun Valley will be easier than ever with an improved schedule of nonstop flights this fall and winter. Fly Sun Valley Alliance (FSVA), in partnership with Sun Valley Resort, recently announced the Friedman Memorial Airport (SUN) airline flight schedule for the upcoming 2018/19 fall and winter seasons, which will provide travelers better access to and from cities across the country and around the world.
New!LOS ANGELES (LAX): United daily flights Dec 19 - March 31
Also, Delta daily LAX flights Dec 20 - Jan 2; Saturdays Jan 5 - March 30
Alaska LAX 3x week fall flights Sept 20 - Oct 14
New!SALT LAKE CITY (SLC): 3x daily Delta flights Oct 1 - March 31
(2x daily flights Nov 27 - Dec 19, April & May)
More frequency - Delta SLC flights will run 3x daily for 75% of the year!
DENVER (DEN): United daily flights Dec 19 - March 31
SAN FRANCISCO (SFO): United daily flights Dec 19 - March 31
SEATTLE (SEA): Alaska 3x week flights Sept 20-Dec 9; daily Dec 13 - March 31
CHICAGO (ORD): United Saturday flights Dec 22 - March 30 (except Jan 5 - Feb 9)
This is one of the strongest nonstop air service schedules yet for our community and it will provide a big boost in convenience and easy access for both locals and visitors. We hope you take full advantage of this additional service and use it often!
Now, more than ever, there are great options and reasons to FLY SUN!
There are reports from the airport that people have missed flights this summer because they arrived at the airport too late - not a fun experience for anyone. Morning is an especially busy period, with several flights departing close together, so you must allow yourself enough time to check-in and get through TSA screening along with all the other passengers.
TIP: Getting to the airport at 6:15am for a 7:00am flight may cause you to miss that flight.
Don't risk it. TSA opens between 5:00 - 5:15 am - plan accordingly!
