It looks like Spring has finally arrived so we anticipate good weather for the remainder of our field trips and other fun events. Just a reminder that Spring uniform is in effect. Please ensure that the appropriate length for skirts, skorts, and shorts is worn.

On Tuesday our 4 th and 5 th graders took a field trip to Williamsburg to learn about colonial life, and on Friday our 7 th graders will make the annual trip to Gettysburg, under the expert guidance of Captain Don Ditko, a St. Ambrose parishioner. They will learn about the Civil War era and have some hands-on experiences. A lot of history will be experienced this week! Next Monday our 8 th graders will take their graduation trip to Philadelphia to visit the Franklin Institute, Independence Hall, and the Cathedral.

This Thursday our 5 th and 8 th graders will take the National Catholic Education Association ACRE test in Religion. This is given in all diocesan schools in April.

Thank you to all who contributed food for the St. Lucy Project food drive. In total the parish collected 4,268 pounds of food!

Have a blessed week.

From the Editor

Send in your submissions! They are due on MONDAYS at 5pm. It's very important that you get your submissions in on time, or I won't be able to get them in until the following week. I accept submissions from teachers, staff, and parents. If you know of something interesting going on in our community, or want to give a shout out to someone at the school, I'd love to add it to the Buzz. I especially enjoy pictures. Please contact Mrs. Rowley to make sure that we have permission to publish pictures of every student in the picture. Pictures need to be less than 5MB. Thanks so much!
