From the Director
Dear Ashwood Community,
Below you will find a letter from Ashwood's Development Director, Annie Mahle, announcing her resignation from Ashwood. Annie has been a member of the Ashwood community for more than 18 years; first as a dedicated parent, then as a board trustee. Annie then served as Ashwood's board president and, for the past five years, has worked enthusiastically as Ashwood's development director.

Annie created Ashwood's vibrant development program pretty much from scratch. During her tenure, Ashwood's annual gifts have more than tripled and the number our donors has increased steadily each year. Annie has brought new friends who are motivated to support the school, while strengthening relationships with the many dedicated and generous donors who have given generously again and again. In addition, she has put into place systems that will support Ashwood's development program in the years to come
Please join me in wishing Annie the best.

School Director
Dear Friends,
After much consideration, I find that for a number of business and personal reasons I am unable to commit to the 2018-2019 school year.

It has been my great honor to serve Ashwood with you all over the past many years on behalf of my own children and the children who follow in their footsteps.  The work that we do together always inspires me to strive toward better.

While I will not continue in my full capacity, I will still be around to meet with you and to share our mutual love of Ashwood.

I look forward to introducing you to the person who will take my place and work with you going forward to lead Ashwood into a bright future.  Please know that I will always hold dear my time with you.

Warmly,
-Annie (Mahle)
