We hope that you are all gearing up for the Easter Break and the sun will shine again and bring the shoppers out!

There is not long to go before BCTF opens its doors for the 45th year and below we've given a taste of the beautiful British-made products that will be showcased at the event in April.
 
A fantastic selection of work will be presented, with something for everyone  and to suit all budgets, across categories that include:
 
Ceramics both functional and decorative, Glassware, Fine Art, Greeting Cards, Home Fragrances, Bath and Beauty Products, Recycled Creations, Textiles for both the Home and Fashion, Sculpture, Metal Work and Jewellery.

SEMINAR FOR BUYERS.
 
Author, speaker and retailer coach, Ian Retallick will be giving a presentation at BCTF 2019 on Tuesday April 9 at 12.30. All buyers are welcome. The talk will offer help and advice on how to beat the internet and increase in-store sales.

Amy Leigh
 
When a waterfall freezes its energy and movement is captured. From a distance it appears no different, but it is silent and still.

At the essence of Amy's work is a fascination with materials changing state from liquid to solid. Her signature technique involves pouring molten pewter in to water, rapidly reducing its temperature and shocking it back in to its solid state creating intriguing sculptural forms. These sculptures are then combined with environmentally conscious materials such as Eco resin and recycled silver to create unique contemporary jewellery with a reduced environmental impact.

Phil Atrill  
 
Phil Atrill's handmade blown glass combines traditional techniques with contemporary designs. Working from a vibrant palette of colours he creates stunning pieces.

Little Hotch
 
Lisa Manning is a digital and traditional illustrator/artist from Greater Manchester. In 2017, she decided to follow her passion and start up her own business illustrating. Her illustrations are influenced by nature and wildlife with a focus on bright and bold colours. She uses mixed media, often adding watercolour to create a unique and original style. 

Lisa's illustrations are available as prints, greeting cards, cushions and mugs. She is also looking into other new products to show the versatility of her designs. Her top priority is not only producing products that are high in quality but by using manufacturers and printers which are based in the UK. 

At BTCF Lisa will be showing her latest illustrations and she is looking forward to meeting new customers.

Daisydoor Crafts
 
After years of making people happy with her gifts, Daisydoor was officially born in January 2018
All Wendy's items are sourced, handcrafted and printed in Whitehaven, a gorgeous harbour town on the edge of the Lake District in Cumbria.

Wendy gifts can be as personal with wording of your choice, adding that little touch of love, with every piece as unique as the next.
