Greetings!

It's a mitzvah to count the 49 days from the 2nd day of Passover to Shavuot, the holiday of the giving of the Torah. On the 33rd day of this counting of the omer, there is a minor Jewish holiday, Lag B'Omer , which is filled with flames, stories, and food.  Why not add a fun, outdoor experience to your Jewish calendar? Grab some PJ Library books and marshmallows, light a campfire, and celebrate Lag B'Omer  (starting Wednesday evening, May 2).
