Passion With Purpose: Dr. O's Powerful Impact
In her nearly four decade career at the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (PCO) and Salus University, 
Susan C. Oleszewski, OD '76, MA - or "Dr. O" as she is more familiarly known - is a Salus icon Among her many accomplishments during her tenure, Dr. O founded the  Looking Out for Kids  (LOFK) initiative, personally garnering strong corporate and community involvement to provide comprehensive vision care services for children who otherwise would go unserved.  

Physician Assistant Program Assists in Veterans Screening Event
On Wednesday, April 4, faculty, staff and students from across the University's programs - including Optometry, Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, and for the first time Physician Assistant Studies - participated in an interprofessional screening event at the Community College of Philadelphia's Northwest Regional Center. Adjacent to The Eye Institute, the University's optometric clinical facility, and just three miles south of the Salus main campus, the event was the perfect opportunity for both veteran and non-veteran students to receive health services right on campus.

Speech-Language Pathology Students Present Capstone Posters

On the evening of Thursday, April 5, students from the Class of 2018 Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) program exhibited their capstone project posters to an attentive audience in the Bennett Lounge of the Hafter Student Community Center. Each of the projects provided services to a local population in need including playgrounds and apartment complexes.
