MEMBER TIP:
MICHIGAN YARD SALES AND THE LAW
By Terri North, Legal Strategies, PC

Spring is finally here in Michigan! We know what that means: crocuses, daffodils, and yard and garage sale signs are popping up all over. If you're holding a sale yourself, we have some important information for you.

After all the sorting and pricing is complete, the hard work of a garage or yard sale is over, right?  Maybe not, since hosting a sale may require you to consider some legal issues, too . The Michigan Attorney General has some  helpful yard sale tips . Here are some other things to think about as you scour your home for items to sell.

MEMBER BENEFIT OF THE WEEK:
AAA: Personal Home & Auto Insurance -  10-13% off rates.

M-59 RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE FROM MDOT:

As part of ongoing work on M-59 (Hall Road), the intersection at Garfield Road will be closed beginning Monday, April 23 for approximately 10 days. While M-59 remains open, blocking 'through' traffic on Garfield will allow crews to safely work through the eastbound and westbound intersections to pave the left lanes. Drivers can access M-59 and use the crossovers to access Garfield Road on the other side of M-59.
