Grants: Awards, Deadlines and Changes In 2018, the Community Foundation distributed over $11 million in grants to nonprofit organizations. This brings the total amount granted since inception to over $125 million. A list of 2018 competitive grant awardsincluding the nonprofit, project title and grant amountcan be viewed here. Preparations are underway for the 2019 grant cycles, and the process will see several changes. Most notably, the fall grant application deadline has been moved up to September 20. In lieu of Pre-Application Briefings, Program Officers are attending January Peer Group meetings to share more about the updates and answer questions. Program Officers are also available throughout the year by appointment to discuss grant programs.
