SAFCC at Paws n Pucks

In March, SAFCC attended the 11th annual Pucks and Paws event hosted by The San Antonio Rampage at the AT&T Center. Our volunteers engaged with the public and spoke about TNR and it's importance - and even had a cat adoption!

SAFCC the focus of 4th grader's school project

Andrea (on the right) attends 4th grade at Braun Station elementary school. Her classmates had an assignment to interview a nonprofit. Andrea chose SAFCC! She asked some good, serious questions of SAFCC president Sherry for over 30 minutes. Andrea's little sister (left) is the real cat lover in the family but both are probable future volunteers!

Thanks for sharing about our organization with your classmates, Andrea!
Upcoming Events
Our event season is picking up and our need for volunteers to staff these events has never been greater. Community events offer us the opportunity to spread the word about the benefits of TNR and what our organization does, so our presence is very important!

Duties usually include setting up tables, handing out out literature, answering questions, and engaging with various members of the public. If you have attended our TNR class and would like to help, please email our volunteer coordinator, Soun-Ja HERE
