Cat Haven receives $2000 adoption grant
BATON ROUGE-
Cat Haven has received a $2,000 Petfinder 'New Year, New Home' Pet Adoption Grant from The Petfinder Foundation. Cat Haven will use this grant to waive or discount the adoption fees for cats that are difficult to adopt for various reasons such as chronic illness, old age and long-term residence. Cat Haven will also host a special event for Mother's Day on Sunday, May 13 to waive the adoption fees of all cats who have had litters.

Petfinder and the Petfinder Foundation believes every adoptable pet deserves a forever home. The Petfinder 'New Year, New Home' Pet Adoption Grant program is used to help subsidized pet adoptions with free or fee reduced fees at all Petfinder organizations awarded this grant.
