The First Impact Culinary Training Program Session has Begun!
|
 The first cohort of the Impact Culinary Training Program began on June 24th! The program aims to provide the 17 young adult students with 8 weeks of culinary training in the kitchen, followed by 4 weeks of experience working in a restaurant during an internship. Kinzie Framework Plan Passes Plan Commission
|
 On May 16, the Chicago Plan Commission unanimously passed the Department of Planning & Development's Kinzie Framework Plan. The Plan Commission's approval reaffirms the City's mission to maintain the Kinzie Corridor as an economic engine and vital job center, provide better access for all transportation modes, and enhance the area's unique built environment. An additional community meeting to inform the public of specific allowed uses in the Planned Manufacturing District is to be determined.
