Old Woodward Reconstruction Project Update - 4/23/18
The fifth week of the Old Woodward Reconstruction Project is underway with crews doing sewer related service work on the east side of Old Woodward, north of Merrill. Meanwhile, contractors continue to do extensive digging related to the underground utility work on eastbound Maple at the Old Woodward intersection.

With the digging taking longer than planned, it is necessary to keep eastbound Maple at Old Woodward closed to through traffic so crews can do the work safely. It is anticipated that eastbound Maple will reopen to through traffic by mid-day Tuesday (4-24-18). An update will be sent once resumption of through traffic has been cleared. Finally, crews continue with fiber optic installation on the south end of the construction zone at Old Woodward and Brown.
