Dear Friends,

Last month Ernesto and Marina Pinto served at different events in Honduras and Guatemala.

March 8-10 -  the pastor couple's retreat took place in Honduras. The goal is always to equip and encourage local pastors in their ministries.
Forty couples attended and all expressed that they were grateful and blessed to be part of the retreat. Marina writes: "Ernesto and I would like to thank our friends who made this retreat possible. Thank you for your support and your prayers. We appreciate that you continue to pray for our safety and health as we are traveling."

March 15-18 -  they participated at the 46th anniversary of the Ebenezer Church in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. This church has a very big congregation and it was full on this weekend. It was a very emotional weekend and a great blessing as many people came forward to receive Jesus as their savior.

Volunteer from Paraguay:

We are happy to introduce a new volunteer. Heriberto Ayala volunteers one day a week in our Winnipeg office to help with editing radio programs. Heriberto grew up in Paraguay and studied theology. He worked in pastoral ministry for 10 years. He also collaborated with a few radio stations in Paraguay, doing live programs and reporting. He has a big passion for radio ministry.
Heriberto and his wife Viola, along with their 4 beautiful daughters, moved to Mitchell, Manitoba in October 2016.
Heriberto writes: "In 2009, I personally met pastor Ernesto Pinto at a congress of Communicators in Argentina, and I thank God and Square One for the opportunity to be a part of this great team.  Here in Canada, along with working in construction, I am also collaborating in a church in Steinbach that has an Hispanic ministry".
Heriberto's experience with working at a Christian radio station is a big asset for us. We are thankful for his generous service and great work.

Testimonies of impacted lives:

Through social networks we receive many comments from our listeners.

"I want to thank you for your Encuentro program. I started listening to it on the radio and I liked it so much that now I listen to it online while I am working. This program has been a great blessing to me personally. Many sad things have happened in my life: abuses, violence, addiction. But 3 years ago, I gave my life to Jesus and I experienced a 180-degree change. Thanks for your effort in bringing stories that impact us to the public! " Yessica

Please continue to pray and support our ministry. Together we are making a difference in the lives of our listeners and viewers.

May the Lord richly bless you,

The ENCUENTRO team
