Join our volunteer team
variety of opportunities

We rely on the help of lots of volunteers to make the Festival happen.  It's a great way to support the community, have some fun and show our visitors how friendly and welcoming Anacortes is.  Whatever your talent or time, we're sure we can find a perfect fit for you. We'll thank you with a t-shirt (see the design below) - and volunteer appreciation event after the Festival.  Grab a friend and sign up today!

Guns to Art Project
local response to violence

The Festival is participating in the Regeneration Project organized by local artists, non-profits and community leaders to honor victims of gun violence and first responders.  The Project will be created with donated guns and weapons by a group of five local artists.  You can participate by turning in guns or other weapons on September 15, making a donation to help fund the project or adding your voice of support through the website (or all three).  It  is the hope of the organizers that as weapons are regenerated into art we can also regenerate conversation away from one rooted in confrontation to one that strives for solutions.
