Volunteers of the Month
Our Saviors Lutheran School blessed our shelters with an Easter Egg Hunt, Easter baskets and treats for our children and moms. Laughter and smiles filled the air.

Sponsoring Partner
O ur Saviors Lutheran School graces us at Christmastime by serving a meal, playing games and making crafts with our children and moms.  We appreciate all of the time and love that is shown by this partnering school throughout the year.

Thank You . . . .

Contact Ministries would like to thank a special young man named Court who recently turned 6 years old. Court selflessly donated his birthday presents to the children here at Contact Ministries. What a huge sacrifice for such a young person. This kind of generosity brings life to Matthew 25:40 "Whatever you did for one of the least of these, you did for me".
Way to go Court!!

We Can See Clearly now the bulbs are new...

Thanks to grants from Express Employment Professionals and the Illinois Department of Human Services, Contact Ministries was able to upgrade our existing overhead lighting. This was necessary due to the extinction of the bulbs and ballasts that were being used.  As part of this project we partnered with Wind Solar USA who contracted Brite Ideas of IL to install all new ballasts and bulbs. Through these relationships we met Scott Brown who graciously donated several hours of his time to see this project to completion. Thank you to all the men who worked around the clock to get this project accomplished in the time allowed.

Contact Ministries has been the recipient of some amazing generosity from a couple of our retailers.

Torrid clothing store, located at the White Oaks Mall, donated over 900 pieces of clothing for distribution to our ladies. This was so beneficial as the size range donated was greatly needed.

Soma, located in the Shoppes At College Hills in Normal, IL, reached out to us and donated over 400 undergarments that were also in high demand.

Corporate Sponsor . . .

The Bank of Springfield has sponsored and supported Contact Ministries in many ways. From financially supporting our fundraisers like the Prom and Golf Outing to encouraging volunteers to help with our Christmas Giveaway and Back-to-School event. BOS is a huge blessing to our mission to meet basic needs while impacting lives for Christ.

Thank you for all you do!

Thank you to Casie Burk Jones for her donation of Easter baskets, candy and eggs to be used by the ladies in our shelters.

The National Honor Society of Glenwood High School gathered books of all genres to donate for enjoyment by our moms, children and clients. Thank you so much to Ashley Lounsberry, President, for all your hard work in gathering and delivering all of the books.
