BREWSTER DAY CAMP          Newsletter    July 15, 2018        Vol. 36 Issue 13

Hello Brewster Day Camp!

COMPETITION drives us all to improve! To COMPETE is to strive consciously or unconsciously for an objective. COMPETITION comes in all sorts of shapes and sizes. At BDC, we COMPETE with our best friends and especially with ourselves.

I find COMPETITION all around camp! Everyone is a COMPETITOR; the campers, the counselors, the young, and the old. Last week at camp, campers COMPETED to win their games of GaGa Ball down at MUGS and COMPETED against the other Hills to see who has more camp spirit; Xander helped the campers COMPETE to improve their teamwork using elements of our low ropes course at BDOC, and the list goes on and on... At each BDC activity, we COMPETE to improve ourselves and to help each other become better!

This Friday is Green & White Day! BDC will be divided between the Green Team and White Team, and then COMPETE to solidify their mark on history, hoist the BDC trophy, and earn the title of BDC Green & White Day Champions. What gets your competitive juices flowing?
