Northeast Georgia Medical Center Barrow's priority of investing in the future of Barrow County students was demonstrated by providing a scholarship designed to acknowledge high school students seeking a career in healthcare.

Congratulations goes to (L) Katherine Narciso at Winder-Barrow High School and (R) Stephanie Montoya at Apalachee High School for being awarded this $500 scholarship.

Katherine has been accepted to attend Mercer University and intends to study biology with the goal of becoming a doctor. Stephanie will be attending Georgia Gwinnett College and intends to pursue a career as a Cardiothoracic Surgeon.

Please join us in congratulating five of Barrow's Boldest support staff who have been selected as our 2017-2018 Barrow's BEST Award winners! BEST stands for Barrow's Exceptional Support Team.

A winner is selected in each of five service categories: Service Employee, School Nutrition, Transportation, Support Personnel, and Contributing Professional.

It was very difficult for the committee to narrow it down to five, but the winners are:
