Today is the first day of another fun "competition" to support Batavia restaurants. Check out the We Side with Batavia Restaurants promotion below.
The Kane County Board has allocated $5 million for the CRF Round Two. Local businesses in need of financial assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic are welcome to apply. Eligible businesses may apply for up to $25,000 to cover certain expenses from March 1, 2020 to December 30, 2020.
Kane County has streamlined the process for Round Two in order to assist as many businesses as possible. Businesses that applied under Round One are welcome to apply under Round Two, provided that they have eligible expenses that were not already reimbursed by the county or another source of financial assistance.
More information, including a link to the web-based application portal, is posted on the County’s Coronavirus Relief Fund page. A dedicated telephone number and email address for this important program is available:
630-762-2084
For businesses that would benefit from one-on-one assistance or might lack adequate technology to complete their online application, Kane County is making computer and scanning technology available free of charge at their downtown Batavia office by appointment only:

Many of you have been viewing Mayor Schielke’s weekly videos. You can access last week’s November 27th video by clicking this link. In it, the Mayor reminds us about scams, but also encourages the community to get into the holiday spirit with a walking/car tour of light displays.
Please scroll down for many upcoming events and other content - including this week's Member Insider with Phil Bukowski.
If you have news to share, remember to send it to us! We continually update our home page, bataviachamber.org when new resources and information comes out. Also, check our calendar for new events from us and the community.
Our local businesses need all of our support – please remember to shop and dine local! As always, we are now, and will be in the future, here for you.
Most sincerely,
