Summer Services in Fellowship Hall

Keep the flame alive by attending our Summer Services in air-conditioned Fellowship Hall. Prelude music starts at 9:50am. These Sundays are more intimate and informal so people participate more and get to know one another better. Services are led by Members and Friends of CUUC, outside speakers, and guest ministers. Music is provided by our talented musicians and special guests. The nursery is staffed for young children. Stay after worship for light refreshments and conversation. Regular services and religious education classes begin again Sun Sep 9. Hope to see you here this summer!

Share the Plate for June: Community Housing Innovations
Half of June's non-pledge collection will go to Community Housing Innovations (CHI),
a provider of emergency, transitional, and permanent housing and support services. CHI finds shelter for 1,000 adults and children on an emergency basis every night. Last October Alexander Roberts, CHI's Executive Director, gave a talk at CUUC on the crisis in affordable Westchester housing, and he did not request or receive an honorarium. We can show our appreciation for his outreach and CHI's good works by donating generously. Learn more at

Process for Share the Plate Requests
Share the Plate requests are made to the Social Justice Coordinating Committee. Priority is given to requests by Social Justice Teams who have a long-term relationship with an organization.
Other requests are considered on a case-by-case basis, if there is an available slot and if there is a connection to CUUC. Individual congregants who wish to suggest a plate share recipient are encouraged to connect with a CUUC committee or social justice team that can champion their request.
