Congrats to our students participating in the FCCLA State Meeting! The following students placed for the STAR Events Competition:
 
Kennedy Hammons- 2nd Place for Illustrated Talk Jr.
Alexis Boone- 2nd Place for Fashion Construction
Kaitlyn Shipp- 2nd Place for Say Yes to FCS
 
In addition, the Cooper chapter received an Honor Roll award for participation.

Two RCHS juniors placed among the top three winners in this year's essay contest sponsored by the local chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution [SAR].  Each student was presented a certificate, medal, and cash prize.  Pictured above are RCHS juniors Michael Armour (3rd Place) and Michael Attabary (2nd Place); Mr. Pat Berry, Vice President and Youth Contests Chairman of the Kentucky Society, Sons of the American Revolution; Mr. Doug Logan, RCHS Social Studies teacher and Youth Contests Chairman for the Simon Kenton Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.

Any student that has purchased a class ring through Herff Jones not only this year,  but in prior years and needs any adjustments, be sure to stop by the Herff Jones table during all lunch periods this Friday, April 6th.   If your student forgot to pick up the class ring they ordered earlier this year, it will also be available for pick up.
