Lake Pointe Academy Working Towards Accreditation

Lake Pointe administration have been meeting frequently with Dr. Gail Stowe to continue preparing for accreditation. In the next school year, LPA will be reviewed for accreditation by AdvancED, a goal that school staff have been working towards for several years.

2018-2019 Admissions Coming to a Close
Following the last Discover LPA information meeting last week, registration for the 2018-2019 school year is entering its last weeks. June 14 marks the new application deadline, June 29 will close admissions for the fall. Lake Pointe was blessed this spring with an active registration season, and staff look forward to a growing student body in the upcoming year.

Book Sale
LPA will host its annual used book sale for books on the 2018-2019 school year's book list through the end of June and beginning of July. For more info, click here.

Tax deductible book donations
Lake Pointe will offer a tax receipt for families who want  to donate book list materials to the academy. We will  issue deduction receipts for two types of materials that  have been on our book list:

1. Those to be used for next year. We will keep these in reserve for new families.
2. Those items that have been removed from the book list. We will attempt to sell these via online  sources as a fundraiser.
