NRMN Researchers Explore How Diversity Training Impacts Research Mentors

Several NRMN researchers, led by Stephanie House, Co-Director of the Master Facilitators Initiative, recently published a paper exploring how faculty perceive diversity and internalize and act on mentor training content.

Dr. Karen Martinez is the Director and Principal Investigator of the Hispanic Clinical and Translational Research Education and Career Development Program.

Her research spans across neurobiology of anxiety disorders, Latino mental health, pharmacogenetics and mental health disparities.

Training Program for Facilitators of Entering Research Welcomes 2nd Cohort of Trained Facilitators


Participants in Cohort 2 of Facilitating Entering Research

The NRMN Mentorship Training Core recently held a second workshop for those interested in facilitating Entering Research. Entering Research is curriculum aimed at trainee development, including research ethics, practical research skills, and more.

Future workshops are planned for October 2018 and Spring 2019.
