COVID19: Resources for
Business & Beyond
A warm hello to all our Ambassadors, Community and Business Partners-

Like many of you, we are in work-from-home mode and adjusting to this new for-now, way of life. Our parent organizations, the World Trade Center-St. Louis and the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership, are tirelessly working with other regional leaders to provide necessary resources and we've included some of those here.

We will stay in touch and hope you will do the same!

Resources

  • Small businesses located in St. Louis City or County that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19 can apply for a zero-interest loan offered by the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the St. Louis Development Corporation. Click here for loan details.
  • Spanish speakers can call Mosaic's Senior Program Manager, Suzanne Sierra, at 314-749-6004

  • Click here for up-to-date info about COVID-19 by St. Louis Regional Chamber

Your involvement and Input is Wanted

  • If you or someone you know has a business or operation that is impacted by the current crisis, please fill out the Regional Business Survey. Input helps regional leaders better assess the impact that COVID-19 is having on the local economy. Please fill out the survey here.

  • County Executive Dr. Sam Page has formed a new agency to help plan the economic recovery after the COVID-19 response ends called the St. Louis Economic Rescue Team. The agency will help advise the county on stabilizing the local economy and adopting new laws and policies that aid in rapid response recovery among other tasks. Applications are being taken for those interested in joining the Board-click here.
Staying in Touch -- and in Sight!
Social distancing - or Distance Socializing! - doesn't mean that we have to stop socializing. We're fortunate to live in a technologically advanced society that ensures continued connection. In fact, our International Mentoring Program and the International Spouse Meetup Group have been holding virtual coffee and happy hour events using Zoom's online meeting platform. You can have a meeting for free if it's under 40 minutes. It's a wonderful way to practice distance socializing with friends and family -- connection is more important than ever! Host a book discussion, movie watch party, or even a cooking demonstration (we've participated in all of these and can vouch for their effectiveness!)

This is also a great time to consider if you would like to volunteer as a mentor for international women who are new to the St. Louis region and may be feeling especially isolated.
