CYBERSECURITY ESCAPE ROOM

On Saturday, Oct. 26, gather your friends and put your problem solving and sleuthing skills to the test in the free Cybersecurity Escape Room hosted by  IT Solutions  and the  Information Security Student Organization . In this fictional escape room scenario, you'll work in teams to stop a spy who is gathering data from our University. Bring your own group of 4 - 6 people, or come on your own and we'll pair you up.

CHILI BRAGGING RIGHTS
10th ANNUAL COOKOFF THURSDAY
Year-long bragging rights for Best MSU Chili are on the line as specialty chili chefs across campus offer their wares at the 10th annual Chili Cookoff. The event on Thursday, Oct. 24, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Centennial Student Union MavAve feeds an outpouring of the campus community and collects donations and food contributions that assist persons in the region facing food insecurity. Persons paying $2 or a non-perishable food item can sample the various chilis and vote on their favorite chili concoction. The annual event is hosting by University Dining Services in collaboration with the Office of Community Engagement.

U-LEAD CONFERENCE
BECOMING A STUDENT LEADER
Check out this year’s U-LEAD conference, an evening of 16 breakout sessions, a student leadership panel, a complimentary dinner and a keynote presentation by Bobby Audley. The conference will be held on Oct. 22 from 5 t0 9 p.m. in the CSU Ballroom. All are welcome to attend with registration.

LEADERSHIP U
ENHANCE YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS
Leadership U is a student-directed organization at Minnesota State University, Mankato that aims to provide students with the leadership skills necessary to be an effective leader across campus. Leadership U holds leadership workshops every Tuesday from 5 to 6 p.m. in CSU 245. These meetings are free and open to everyone.

LEADERSHIP TOOLBOX
A GUIDE FOR STUDENT LEADERS
The Leadership Toolbox serves as a Leadership U workshop equivalent for students that don’t have the time to attend the weekly workshops done by Leadership U. The Leadership Toolbox encompasses around 20 different topics relating to leadership. Some of these include: time management, strategic planning, collaboration, and many more!
