Career and College Ready: What CTE Is and Isn't
Career and technical education (CTE) integrates academics and skills-based curriculum in a relevant and rigorous way, while also featuring high school and post-secondary partnerships that allow for clear pathways to certifications and degrees. It is not just vocational education or a way to track students into a particular career field, nor is it a lower quality of education. Rather, CTE courses build transferable skills that lead to success in both career and college. Read more in the April edition of OSP Connected.

HSF Phone-A-Thon is April 23-26
The Hillsboro Schools Foundation (HSF) is the only non-profit organization that exists solely to support Hillsboro School District students, staff, and schools. The money they raise goes to support innovative grants from teachers, homework clubs for middle school students, STEM kits for elementary schools, high school athletic and activity clubs, and more! When you receive a call from a student this week, please answer and consider giving! You can also give now by going to the Donations link on HSF's website.
