MSM exhibits we outfitted at the NACS Show
|
It was a busy week in October for Cheshire when we partnered with
Mirror Show Management to outfit four client exhibits for the
NACS show in Chicago.
NACS is the Association for Convenience & Fuel Retailing.
Each booth was customized to Mirror Show Management's design specs, by installing video walls, lighting, projection, and interactive displays, creating unique,
eye-popping exhibits.

We also
supplied several displays of various sizes

Fashion Week of Rochester
In 2017, Fashion Week raised in excess of $700,000, exceeding their goal and surpassing funds raised in prior years.
Our involvement marks the second year partnering with
415 Productions, the in-house production company of WCNY public broadcasting in Syracuse, NY. We provided four 70" stage concept monitors that worked in conjunction with two main video screens.

Also in October, we headed to the Austin Convention Center in Texas for the AALAS Conference, at which Getinge was exhibiting.
For this show, we partnered with Roseann Dennoncourt of In Tradeshows & Events. For this booth, we put up a 2 x 2 seamless wall that was used to show video loops, as well as to mirror Apple TV, Powerpoint exhibits, and other applications Getinge employees were demoing on their ipads.

The Importance of Branding Your Event

Allendale Columbia 125th Anniversary

Many organizations underestimate the value of creating an event that has its own branding that also aligns with the organization's brand. The most successful events - whether galas, tradeshows, or high-profile meetings - are experiential and are designed to drive engagement. Depending on goal, the event should inspire thought, action, loyalty and/or learning. A properly-branded event will evoke an emotional response. That branding is infused across all elements of the event, including print, promotional giveaways, and online materials. Equally important in the branding is the ambiance created through décor, lighting, sound and entertainment. Customer service and onsite experience are also intrinsic parts of that branding. Successful branding of an event reflects positively on, and even enhances, the organization's own brand.
To collaborate on this article, we turned to our valued partner,
Dixon Schwabl, an agency that specializes in creative services, media production and creation, content marketing, social media, special events and more. We work closely with the DS Events team to create highly-branded events for clients. Jenna Van Thof, Associate Vice President of Special Events, spoke about Dixon Schwabl's vision for creating branded events. She also shared insights using client case studies.

ANNESE Sightline Conference

"E
vents
offer the perfect opportunity to showcase your
organization
. If done well, they create a lasting and memorable experience, and they are actually the
ultimate
expression of your organization's brand," she noted.
She went on to explain that events provide an opportunity for your customers or consumers, prospects or donors to engage with the brand and the product or service it represents. One of the most important aspects of an event is that it allows your organization to maximize face time with attendees. It is invaluable in that it offers them a memorable, personalized experience that they'll find at no other event, and that they'll connect to your organization's brand.

The Real Cost of a Bad Corporate Meeting or Event
|
|
|
Many companies that hold meetings and events regularly cut corners on everything from travel and food to audio visual needs. They don't realize how those nickels saved may, in fact, add up to dollars lost. Too much cost cutting can negatively affect intangibles such as brand, learning goals, morale, motivation, and even future event attendance.
In this Forbes article, Josh Linkner
, an author and
professional speaker on innovation and leadership shares insights on the real cost of not investing enough in your meeting to deliver an event that supports your company's brand and mission.

Bold Food Choices that Spice up Networking
|
Spoons and straws that change color, edible designer handbags and shoes, martinis and manicures...what does all that have to do with a meeting, you might ask.
Because we learn better when all our senses are engaged, these amenities can offer attendees great conversation starters to assist in networking, and food can work magic at meetings and special events!
