Student Travel Grants Available
The Association for Fire Ecology is accepting applications for TREE grants to help fund graduate student travel to the conference. We are planning exciting student activities, including a student/mentor luncheon. This is a great opportunity to share and discuss your research, meet other students and professionals, and explore Missoula!

Applications are due March 23.

Manager Scholarships
To encourage managers to attend the conference, we are offering free registrations to professionals and managers. There are 10 management scholarships available to any land management professional. These were designed for local managers who live near Missoula and will not incur extra travel costs; however, others will be considered.

Applications are due April 15.

Workshops and Field Trip Opportunities
On Monday morning, just before the conference begins, 16 workshops are being offered on a range of topics, from software applications to risk assessment.

Wednesday afternoon, conference attendees can take a break from sessions to get outdoors and learn from local managers and scientists by signing up for 1 of 5 field trips.

UM Campus Accommodations
In addition to nearby hotels, lodging is available on campus for conference attendees. Single rooms are $45 per night, doubles are $32 per night. Reservations can be made through the conference website and are due by May 7.
