introducing "room at the table for all"
Summers are a time for relaxing and spending time with those whom we love. Whether your table is a backyard barbecue, a dinner out on the town, or an intimate evening in your home, who
is at the table is as important as what is being served. In this series, we will take a look at who we invite to our table, collectively as well as individually and how we can add more leaves so that there's room for all.

7/15 ~ i love you, you love me
This is more than the theme song to a children's television show, it's how we're to live our lives. On this Colorado Springs Pride Sunday, Rev. Rost will explore how Love is to be the invitation to the table both at All Souls and in our individual lives and what happens when we seek to "do no wrong" to our neighbor, moving beyond boundaries into reciprocal understanding.

congratulations!
Congratulations to our very own Rev. Nori Rost on receiving the Legacy Award at the 5th Annual Indy Inclusion Awards! We couldn't be more proud of her!

march with catherine!
All Souls has secured a spot in the Pride Parade on Sunday morning, 7/15! Participants will meet at Bar-K at 8am for a free breakfast (yummy!) and then "walk the walk" with the lovely Catherine Grandorff. The parade route starts at Tejon and Cimarron, going along Tejon to Colorado Ave., traveling west along Colorado to Cimino Dr (just before I-25). Contact Catherine if you will join her in supporting the LGBTQIA community and demonstrating our 1st principle!

gardening announcement
Due to a personal conflict, Becky will not be doing her garden work on Thursday, 7/12. She will continue with her regular hours next week (7/16). Those hours are 3-5:30pm on Mondays and 11am-2pm on Thursdays. Also, thank you to our mystery person who has been watering and to our loyal grass mower Dale Kemmerer.

affinity groups
Our affinity groups are open to all! There is no enrollment period and no fee required. Friends are welcome! These groups share a common interest and provide opportunities to connect and deepen our fellowship outside of Sunday Service. Perhaps one is for you? For more information, please click here

There is a $5 entrance fee (weekend pass) to help offset costs associated with PrideFest, including enhanced security to ensure a safe place for festival goers. ***new event***
7/17, 6-9pm, at Taco Bell (1507 S. Nevada Ave), "Remembering Jesse." It has been 2 years since Jesse Garcia was murdered in a Taco Bell parking lot in Colorado Springs. His murderer, Jack Rogers, an 80-year-old white male at the time of the incident, has a documented history of racial harassment in his neighborhood, a family connection to an officer in the CSPD, and is still a free man. The 4th District Attorney Dan May made a quick decision not to press charges against Jack Rogers based on a surveillance video that has not yet been released. This is a vigil in remembrance of Jesse, as the work still continues.
