The Academic Requirements Report is designed to give you advice on what courses you will need to take to complete your degree, as well as warn you if you have broken any of the various rules that govern which courses may be used in a particular degree program. While the ARR is a useful guide, the ultimate authority on all academic requirements in the Faculty of Arts and Science is the Arts and Science Calendar; if there is a discrepancy, the online Calendar requirements take precedence.
To run your AAR, see the above video.
If you are having trouble filling your elective requirements consider taking an
online Queen's course or a course from another University on an
approved
Letter of Permission.
*Please note that the deadline for Queen's to receive a transcript from another University in time to graduate is Oct 15, 2018.
Career Services and the
School of Graduate Studies are both available to assist with questions regarding graduate studies options.
The application to graduate for Fall 2018 will open on July 15, 2018 in your Student Service Centre in SOLUS.
You must formally "Apply to Graduate" through the Solus Student Centre. Honour students are assessed by their department(s) to determine their eligibility to graduate. Completion of an Application to Graduate does not guarantee the awarding of a degree / diploma / certificate. All applications are subject to academic review by the appropriate faculty or school, and approval by the Senate Committee on Academic Procedures (SCAP). The Faculty Office assesses the three year general degrees and minor degrees.
Students may only apply to graduate in the program/plan in which you are currently registered. If any changes are required to your program and/or plan you will need to email
[email protected] .This includes the addition or deletion of minor plans and any other questions.
