8:00, 9:30, & 11:00 am Services
In recent weeks we have been traveling the road with Jesus and along this road, He has revealed more and more of himself to the disciples and the crowds that followed.
Peter has declared Jesus to be the Messiah but Jesus has plainly described the role of the divine Messiah while laying out the profile of a true disciple. As Jesus has moved the people into the uncharted territory of denying themselves, taking up their cross and following Him, He has noted their troubled responses and confusion.
This Sunday we study a passage where Jesus purposefully keeps his promise to show those who follow the glorious kingdom that is to come. He specifically chooses Peter, James, and John to see His transfiguration. These three see the glory of Jesus and also experience the presence of Moses and Elijah.
Join us as Mark 9:1-13 comes alive through the voices of our four pastors. Enter the sanctuary, worship the Lord and together we will
experience the hope we can have in Him as we get a glimpse of His kingdom now and His kingdom to come.
We'll see you this Sunday!
-Pastor Doug for Pastor Colleen, Pastor Danielle, and Pastor T.J.
By revelation is meant not primarily the imparting of information but rather the disclosure, appearance, self-giving, self-evidencing of God.
- Thomas Oden
Give me one hundred preachers who fear nothing but sin and desire nothing but God, and I care not whether they be clergymen or laymen, they alone will shake the gates of Hell and set up the kingdom of Heaven upon Earth.
- John Wesley
The messenger of the covenant in whom you delight-indeed, he is coming, says the Lord of hosts.
- Malachi 3:1b
(Transfiguration was) the greatest miracle - it revealed the hidden divinity of Christ before his passion and death.

This week in worship
This week we will follow each pastor's homily with a single verse of the great hymn, Holy, Holy, Holy, written by Reginald Heber in 1826, accompanied by a beautiful contemporary arrangement on the piano. Whether this hymn is old or new to you, I encourage you to seek a fresh understanding of the words as we respond to the Lord's voice in our hearts with praise for his unmatched holiness!
