Each month, we'll send you a newsletter with highlights about worship, Sunday classes, fellowship events, and service opportunities.  In the in-between weeks, we'll send a short newsletter to highlight upcoming events.  We promise to keep it short and sweet and to keep you in the know.

First Sunday of the month lunches
With Easter being the first Sunday of the month, we've switched up our schedule in April!  Join FPC young adults on Sunday, April 22 for lunch together after 11 a.m. worship.  We'll meet in the drive and walk to a nearby restaurant. 


Summer Socials
Mark your calendars for the 4th Wednesday of the month in May, June, July, and August for monthly young adult socials!  Look for more info with details for time and place in future newsletters.

If you're willing to host* one of these get-togethers, please email Katelyn ([email protected]).

*Hosting can look like having people over to hang out in your backyard or at your apartment complex's pool and asking people to BYOB, or it can look like choosing a brewery around town where we can meet up :)

This Sunday, this class will begins a new series on creation care. What does our faith have to teach us about how we are to care for the earth and natural resources?  What's our responsibility as stewards of God's creation?

If you'd like to be part of one of these small groups of 8-12 members that meet once or twice a month or would like more information, please fill out this Google form.  Katelyn will be in touch when enough people have signed up to start a new group.

Moving Ministry
Join the team on Saturday, April 14 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to help move families and individuals out of transition or homelessness into a place to call home.  We will meet at Crisis Assistance Warehouse on 333 Dalton Road.  We would love to have four or more volunteers, so grab a friend and meet us for a great morning. 
 
Big muscles aren't a requirement.  Carrying a lamp shade is just as important as a sofa! Sign up here.

Mexico Mission Trip
November 5-10, 2018
Organizational meeting: May 6 @ noon in Wood Fellowship Hall

Travel with your church family to serve for a week at Villa Infantil Maya (VIM), a residence for Mayan middle and high school students who attend school away from home.  We'll spend time with the students and do some construction work to improve the facility.  Contact Martha Eubank ([email protected]) for more information.
