Welcome to the New Year!
The new year marks a time when we take a fresh look at things and set new goals for the bright new year ahead. It is full of promise and excitement! This is exactly what I was feeling during our Professional Development this past Monday. Our staff came together to prepare for the second semester and started by individually coming up with ONE WORD to be the focus for 2020. Our staff came up with some GREAT words like patience, grace, determination, resilience, perseverance, balance, and dedication. Each word has a special meaning for each of us as we continue our personal journey. My word for 2020 is
JOY. More than just happiness, which is great, I am working to bring the joy of the Holy Spirit into all that I do this year. I pray that I can bring joy to the many areas of my professional and personal life. I pray that the Holy Spirit continues to help and guide me that I might lead SPSA for the glory of God! I often call upon the Holy Spirit to be present in our school – in our classrooms, on our playgrounds, in our relationships. I pray that this year will also be a year of JOY at SPSA and invite you to pray along with me for the joyful success of our students and our school. “Rejoice in the Lord always. I shall say it again: rejoice!” – Philippians 4:4
¡Bienvenido al año Nuevo!
El año nuevo marca un momento en que se toma una nueva mirada a las cosas y establecemos nuevas metas para el brillante año nuevo que se avecina.
¡Está lleno de promesas y emoción! Esto es exactamente lo que estaba sintiendo durante nuestro desarrollo profesional el lunes pasado. Nuestro personal se unió para prepararse para el segundo semestre y comenzó ideando UNA PALABRA para que fuera el foco de atención para 2020. A nuestro personal se le ocurrieron GRANDES palabras como paciencia, gracia, determinación, resistencia, perseverancia, equilibrio y dedicación. Cada palabra tiene un significado especial para cada uno de nosotros a medida que continuamos nuestro viaje personal. Mi palabra para 2020 es ALEGRÍA. Más que la felicidad, que es genial, estoy trabajando para llevar la alegría del Espíritu Santo a todo lo que hago este año.
Rezo para que pueda traer alegría a las muchas áreas de mi vida profesional y personal.
¡Rezo para que el Espíritu Santo continúe ayudándome y guiándome para que pueda liderar SPSA para la gloria de Dios!
Siempre llamo al Espíritu Santo para que esté presente en nuestra escuela, en nuestras salones, en nuestros patios, en nuestras relaciones.
