Dear Neighbor,
Much has changed since I sent out my March Happenings Newsletter at the end of February. Considering developments at the local, state, and federal level, and in an abundance of caution for the safety of the community, several public meetings in the Dranesville District are being cancelled and will be rescheduled for later dates.
I have included the details of public meetings that are being postponed below. The new dates, times, and locations will be sent out in a separate alert or newsletter once the meetings are rescheduled.
March 16: McLean CBC Task Force Meeting
March 16: Dranesville District Repaving Meeting
March 17: West Falls Church Transit Station Area Task Force Meeting
March 18: Dranesville District Budget Public Meeting - Great Falls Area*
March 21 and 25: Herndon-Reston Bus Service Review Meetings
March 26: Spring Hill Road and Lewinsville Road Intersection Community Meeting
*My office is working with Fairfax County staff to set up a date in the near future for a virtual budget town hall. More details to follow.
Many agencies and organizations are also cancelling meetings and events. I recommend checking with the event host or sponsor directly to ensure that any events are still occurring as planned.
