Farm Tours for our Members

When membership benefits expanded last year, we added invitations to a Berkshire Grown farm tour for members at the $100 level and above.

Those invitations are going out soon and if you want to be included in the list, upgrade your membership today.

Remember, sustaining members who make  a recurring gift receive benefits at the next highest membership level. For example: $10 per month ($120 for the year) will get you membership benefits at the $250 level! Being able to count on regular donations helps us spend more time focused on the important work of providing programs, networking and educational opportunities for the local food and farming community.

Across much of the US, farmers markets have reported a decrease in consumer participation over the last couple of years, resulting in a decrease in farm sales and income. In an attempt to understand and reverse this slump, a multi-state study is being undertaken.

Part of the study consists of a survey to ascertain the reasoning behind consumer choices of venues to shop for local food.
